About Us
Vida means life, and that reflects what matters most to me. As part of a large, close-knit family, I value the time I spend with my loved ones and my dogs. Some of my favorite moments are walking with my mom and our dogs, playing board games with my siblings and children, going out to lunch with my dad, and enjoying cuddles with my nieces and nephews.
When my home is not filled with puppies, you'll often find me outdoors paddle boarding, gardening, hiking, or snowshoeing—with my dogs always by my side. I believe life's greatest joys are found in meaningful connections, time in nature, and creating lasting memories with the people and pets we love.
I am blessed with three wonderful adult children, an amazing daughter-in-law, supportive significant others who are part of our family, and my husband, who all share a passion for raising exceptional puppies. Together, we work as a team to provide each puppy with the best possible start while helping families find just the right new companion to meet their needs.
From whelping and caring for each litter to cleaning, socializing, and early training, everyone plays an important role. We take great pride in the love, dedication, and teamwork that go into raising confident, well-socialized puppies and creating lasting connections between our puppies and their forever families.
The heart behind our breeding program…
"Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." For us it began with profound loss. In 2018, our family unexpectedly lost my youngest brother, Mike, in a tragic train accident. His passing changed our lives forever. Mike was more than my brother—he was a wonderful combination of brother, friend and pseudo sibling to my three children. He had a remarkable way of bringing joy, laughter, and love to everyone around him, and his absence left an immeasurable hole in our family.
As we each navigated our grief, one of my siblings struggled with anxiety. Her therapist suggested that a dog might provide comfort and companionship. Wanting to help, I made it my mission to find the perfect dog—one with the temperament she was looking for while also being a good fit for her husband's allergies.
During that journey, we discovered Bernedoodles, and I quickly fell in love with the breed. Their unique combination of loyalty, intelligence, affection, and playful personalities made them everything we were hoping for and more. Watching the comfort, connection, and joy that a dog could bring during such a difficult season inspired me in a way I never expected.
Mike was an adventurer at heart and believed in encouraging others to pursue their passions. His adventurous spirit continues to inspire me every day and gave me the courage to pursue mine: helping families find a dog that can bring comfort, healing, and unconditional love. Since losing Mike, my Bernedoodles have been much more than pets—they have been a source of emotional support, companionship, and healing. Their incredible ability to sense emotions, provide comfort, and love unconditionally has strengthened my passion for raising exceptional dogs that enrich the lives of others.
As a small, family breeder, my goal is to raise healthy, well-socialized Bernedoodles with outstanding temperaments—dogs that become cherished family members, trusted companions, and, for some, life-changing therapy or emotional support animals. Looking toward the future, we want to continue to set aside a portion of our proceeds so that we can donate a puppy to an individual or family in need of an emotional support or therapy dog.
Giving back to the community is one of the ways I hope to honor Mike's memory. I have experienced firsthand the incredible comfort and healing a Bernedoodle can provide, and it is a privilege to share that gift with others. Every puppy we raise is more than part of our breeding program—they are part of a mission built on love, healing, compassion, and the belief that the right dog can truly change a life.
